Any Village Ordinance is available in hard copy from the Village Clerk: There is a fee for this service as dictated by the Missouri Sunshine Law
The ordinances are provided to “promote the
health, welfare and safety within the Village and for the purpose of preventing
blight, controlling nuisances and maintaining property values”. Ordinances
cover such nuisances as dangerous buildings, vacant residences, unused
vehicles, yard maintenance, and exterior structure maintenance among others.
The ordinances also lay out the requirements and permitting process for the
construction of exterior structures.
